Madan Mohan College, one of the most renowned educational institutions of sylhet as well as of the whole country, is a constant source of pride to us all. The college was established in 1940 with a view to spreading quality education among the people of this region. Over the last eight decades, it has been playing a vital role in this regard.
An educational institution has a rare scope to develop human resources. A nation can be enlightened with the light of education. It is our dream to build up a society with strong moral foundation. I firmly believe, the dream will come true with our collective efforts.
At present, we are living in an age of science and technology. The world is now called a global- village. To keep pace with the time, we have to put utmost emphasis on world class education- which is the keystone of overall progress.
It is a matter of great joy and pride that the college has been nationalized in 2018. The Hon’ble Prime Minister of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina stepped into the campus on 21 January 2016 and declared its nationalization. The glorious historical moment will be remembered for ever with heartfelt thanks and gratitude.
May the almighty bless our college so that it can achieve a front-ranking position in the field of quality education.
